Description

We became clinicians because of our desire to facilitate the skills needed to improve the quality of life and occupation of the clients we serve. All too often therapists can feel burdened by the paperwork required by third party payors and/or employers to ensure reimbursement for the services provided.

This program is designed to provide the novice to intermediate level occupational therapist with a variety of treatment activities that are paper based as well as to 'put a little fun' back into treatment.

Objectives

  1. Examine and explore various treatment activities which utilize paper as a treatment medium.
  2. Complete a skill based activity analysis of various paper based treatment activities.
  3. Practice documenting skilled intervention for at least one paper based treatment activity.
